Speculations arose that Anne Curtis is the next big star to switch networks after she was spotted in a meeting with GMA Pictures President Annette Gozon-Valdes and GMA First Vice President for Program Management Joey Abacan.
While this caused a stir online, many individuals expressed their excitement for Anne's potential comeback as a Kapuso.
In fact, GMA is where she debuted her TV career as an actress.
GMA youth-oriented series, 'T.G.I.S,' is Anne's first major TV project after starring in primetime series 'Ikaw Na Sana,' which were shown in 1997, in a supporting role.
It would be remembered that Anne was part of the show's second batch alongside Dingdong Dantes, Ciara Sotto, Antoinette Taus, Kim delos Santos, Dino Guevarra, Sunshine Dizon, Chantal Umali, and Polo Ravales.
Anne also showcased her acting skills when she joined 'Anna Karenina,' one of the longest teleseryes aired in GMA, in 1998.
Aside from drama, Anne ventured into comedy as well when she was still a GMA talent.
The bankable actress starred in GMA comedy shows' Beh Bote Nga' (2001-2002) and 'Idol Ko Si Kap' (2003) which were part of the Network's KiliTV lineup.
The Filipino-Aussie beauty also got to host 'Eat Bulaga!' and became a performer in the defunct musical variety show 'SOP' for a time before she transferred to rival network.
Anne may have switched networks but she has not cut ties with GMA as she starred in two movies produced by GMA Films, 'Ang Panday' (2009) and 'In Your Eyes' (2010).
