The most-awaited return of the Met Gala has finally arrived. On September 13, Monday (U.S. time), famous celebrities and personalities stepped out to slay on the red carpet of fashion's biggest night out.
The Met Gala makes up for lost time with a two-part exhibition, which celebrates the evolution of American fashion.
The opening gala for the first exhibition, which will formally open on September 18, has the theme America: A Lexicon of Fashion.
The red-carpet event was held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City with safety protocols in place. In fact, COVID-19 vaccination was required among the attendees.
The dress code for the glamorous event is American Independence, and celebrities and fashion designers showcased their interesting take of the gala's theme on the red carpet.
