Siargao's picturesque beauty can definitely stand toe to toe in other scenic island destinations, not just in the country but around the world.
In 2025, the teardrop-shaped island was named one of the best islands in Asia at Condé Nast Traveler's 2025 Readers' Choice Awards.
It ranked seventh, behind Boracay (4th) and Palawan (5th). Meanwhile, according to the data from the Department of Tourism in the Caraga Region, the island of Siargao welcomed 242,560 tourists (local and foreign) from January to August 19, 2025.
