Who would have thought that mid-September 2025, showbizlandia would be in for a big shock when showbiz couple Gerald Anderson and Julia Barretto announced that they have parted ways?
The news that Gerald and Julia have broken up was confirmed via the statement released by the talent management of the Kapamilya actor, Star Magic. Viva Artists Agency, Julia's agency, spoke about the break up for the daughter of Marjorie Barreto.
In the official statement of Viva, it said, "On behalf of our artists, Viva Artists Agency confirms that Julia Barretto and Gerald Anderson have mutually and amicably parted ways for some time now.
“The circulating speculations in recent weeks regarding the reason for their breakup are unfounded and baseless.
“We emphasize that only information coming directly from Julia or Gerald should be gathered as accurate, as they are the primary parties involved. Any other claims are merely attempts to ride on the issue or spread false information."
It was back in March 2021, during Gerald's interview with King of Talk Boy Abunda, when the actor then admitted his relationship with Julia.
