Our hair is our crowning glory. Aside from our faces, our hair is probably one of the first things that people notice when it comes to physical appearance.
No matter how much makeup we put on or how well ironed our clothes are, our look is not complete if our hair is a mess.
At the very least, we make sure our hair is well-combed before we step out of the house or before we appear in video calls.
Moreover, aside from the grooming aspect of styling our hair, one of the main reasons we do so is to express ourselves.
That's why many of us take a lot of time and effort in making sure our hair is on point.
We cut, color, and style our hair according to what we think suits us or whatever new trend we feel will look good on us.
During the lockdown period, people had to make do with DIY haircuts and hair color, as salons and barbershops had to close temporarily.
Some people have even turned into their loved one's own hairstylist during the quarantine period.
While some have successfully done their DIY hair color and haircut, some did not have the same favorable result.
That's why now that salons and barbershops are already allowed to operate., many rushed to their go-to hairstylist as soon as they could to give their hair some much-needed TLC.
Celebrities are no exception to the “quarantine hair” trend. Gray hair started to show up for some, while some had grown-out hair that revealed their darker roots.
While most of us, non-celebrities, can get away with looking like a mess while we study or work from home, celebrities can't, since the entertainment industry has pivoted to doing shows via Zoom and they still need to look good for their sponsored posts on social media, despite the ongoing pandemic.
From coloring their roots to DIY trims, some of our beloved stars had to wing it for a while when it comes to styling their own hair for Zoom appearances.
But, now in 2021, it seems like many celebrities have already had the opportunity to get a much-needed hair makeover from their trusted hairstylist and we're all here for it.
