The world of showbiz is a life of glitz and glamor and nobody lived that life like Felix Mariano Fausto, more famously known as Fanny Serrano. He was known as the Pioneer of Beauty in the Philippines.
Tita Fanny, as most of his colleagues called him, started working in the showbiz industry in the '70s.
In previous interviews, Fanny said he was so interested in acting since he was just a child, which led him to pursue a life as an actor and performed in a number of movies and shows.
His popularity then rose in the late '70s up to the '90s when he started working as a make-up artist to some of the most notable names in the industry, including Megastar Sharon Cuneta, Zsa Zsa Padilla, Kris Aquino, Maricel Soriano, among others.
Despite making a name in the beauty industry, it didn't hinder Fanny to pursue other fields in showbiz as he also worked in the costume and wardrobe department of some of the most loved movies and series as well as wearing the director's hat during his career.
The respected actor and makeup artist passed away on May 11, 2022. He was 72.
