Darbie Kim Estrebilla took a leap of faith when he quit his job in the United Arab Emirates in 2020 to focus on his passion for vlogging.
In just about three years, Darbie, who is now fondly called as Kuya Darbs by his followers, has reached millions of views in his vlog titled 'Real Talk Darbs.'
According to Darbie, his vlogs are not just for entertainment. By talking about social issues and current events, the content creator also aims to inspire people especially those experiencing anxiety.
“My intention is to just give value to my audience on every content and video I produce. To tell you the truth, hindi ako naka-focus kung magba-viral ba ito o maraming magshe-share o sisikat ba ako sa video na ito. Every video is meant to save at least one soul. I guess that's the reason why people follow me. They see and feel that intention,” Kuya Darbs said in a statement.
As of writing he now has registered three million followers on Facebook; 210,000 subscribers on YouTube; 640,000 followers on TikTok; and 52,000 followers on Instagram.
Aside from creating contents for 'Real Talk Darbs,' the passionate vlogger also shares his knowledge to aspiring vloggers through his RTD Creator Academy and RTD Creatives. Likewise, he discusses his marketing and branding knowledge via live talks and speaking engagements.
