The internet recently went abuzz after American supermodel Gigi Hadid shared photos of her newly refurbished New York City apartment.
In her Instagram post, Gigi narrated how she has been ardently working on redecorating her place in The Big Apple.
“Spent all of last year designing and curating my passion project / dream spot.
“Of course, it all came together right before quarantining out of the city.... but I'm excited for the time I'll get to spend enjoying all the special corners that were made with a lil help from some of my favorite creatives (tap!) who embraced my ideas and didn't call me crazy.
“++ my mamma:) who is the greatest homemaking-sounding-board I could ask for (she called me crazy when required) ️ grateful to and for all. Special thanks to Gordon Kahn!”
While a lot of people think that the aesthetic in Gigi's apartment is unique, some find it a bit too eclectic or bizarre for their taste.
To give you a hint, there are a lot of surprising and quirky pieces and designs in Gigi's place. Each of them is impossible to ignore and are definitely conversation-starters.
Regardless of some negative comments on her interior design choices, the 25-year-old soon-to-be first-time mom is utterly happy and proud of how her refurbishing project turned out.
And like what she mentioned in her IG post, Gigi couldn't wait to spend time in her one-of-a-kind space in the City That Never Sleeps, although it's unclear whether she will give birth in NYC.
