October is considered Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and multinational cosmetics company, Estee Lauder Companies, along with The Philippine Foundation for Breast Care, Inc. (Kasuso Foundation), organized an event called “The Pink Ball.”
The Pink Ball is a fundraising charity event that aims to raise funds to support 4000 or more free mammograms for underprivileged women in the country. The event was held at Shangri-La, The Fort, in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig on October 13.
On the said day, several Kapuso personalities graced the special event such as Kapuso Primetime King and Queen Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera, GMA Network Senior Vice President Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes, and Sparkle sweethearts Mavy Legaspi and Kyline Alcantara.
Other showbiz figures who also graced The Pink Ball included actresses Sofia Andres, Barbie Imperial, TV personality Tim Yap, actor Jake Cuenca, and celebrity photographer BJ Pascual.
