Kapuso celebrity mom LJ Reyes recently took her kids Ethan Akio or Aki and Summer Ayana on a quick trip to La Union or Elyu

In her vlog, LJ said that it was a much-needed breather for her and the kids, especially after months of being at home during the quarantine.

The 'StarStruck' alumna also said it was a welcome break for her and the kids amid the stressful pandemic, and sort of a last hurrah before Aki goes back to school in September.

She also explained that her partner, Paolo Contis, couldn't join them in their Elyu trip because he's currently in the lock-in taping for the upcoming Kapuso series 'I Left My Heart in Sorsogon.'

Nevertheless, LJ and the kids had a great time at the beach with their other loved ones.

Since Elyu is known as one of the top surfing destinations in the country, LJ's son Aki grabbed the chance to catch some waves as his mom cheered him on.

Meanwhile, Summer was a bit scared at first of setting foot in the sand and being on the beach, in general.

But she eventually relaxed and tried to make a sandcastle with her mom.

Summer and LJ also had a lovely mom and daughter bonding moment at the pool, where they sang a nursery rhyme together.

Plus, there were also other random fun and hilarious moments of LJ and her kids Aki and Summer.

Check out the adorable photos of LJ and her kids during their recent trip to Elyu in the gallery below.
