Maxene Magalona and Rob Mananquil quarantine life in Bali

Husband and wife Maxene Magalona and Rob Mananquil are currently stranded in Bali, Indonesia due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The couple left Metro Manila on February 29, 2020, to attend a yoga teacher training course at the School of Healing Arts at The Yoga Barn.

But because of the lockdown and limited flights on March 15, 2020, Maxene and Rob have not been able to return to Manila.

The couple has been posting updates about their well-being in the tropical paradise by sharing what they've learned all throughout the quarantine such as yoga, mental health, and seeing the bigger picture amid the pandemic.

As stated in Rob's post, “Right now, this global isolation is really meant for us to reflect, introspect & use this time wisely. To bathe in the silence, to discover who we really are and once we find the light, we grab it with all our heart, mind and soul.”

As of this writing, the two have not yet returned to Manila.

Let's take a quick look at how they're coping with the pandemic in the tranquil paradise of Bali in this gallery:
