In 2013, model-turned-TV host Phoemela Baranda revealed in an interview that she already has a 15-year-old daughter named Kim Nichole.
Phoemela was only 18 years old when she found out she was pregnant and 19 when she gave birth. To hide her pregnancy, they went to the United States on her fourth month of pregnancy. When they returned to the Philippines, the family introduced baby Nichole as Phoemela's niece. Afterward, Nichole was then introduced as Phoemela's younger sister.
In 2014, Kim Nichole joined a reality TV show where she was introduced to the public as Phoemela's daughter.
