Just hours before Christmas in 2020, Kapuso actress Glaiza de Castro announced her engagement to her Irish boyfriend, David Rainey.
Glaiza flew to Ireland to spend the holiday season with David and his family, where he popped the question.
In a post on Instagram, Glaiza shared a photo of her beautiful engagement ring.
She wrote in the caption, "Who would've thought I'd say yes in freezing cold weather... it just felt right."
In an interview with 24 Oras, David mentioned that before Glaiza flew to Ireland, he assured Glaiza's family that he would take good care of her.
He said, "We will take care of her, keep her safe, keep her warm, make sure she has lots of nice foods."
"Like when I was in the Philippines from February to June, and Glaiza's family took care of me.
"We will do the same."
