Actor Carlo Aquino surprised the public when he announced the birth of his daughter, Enola Mithi Aquino, with Trina Candaza on September 13, 2020.
Rumors first circulated about their relationship in early January 2019 when several photos of the actor and Trina circulated online. At the time, Carlo was still being romantically linked to former love team Angelica Panganiban.
In August 2019, Carlo confirmed to the press that he's in a relationship with Trina and that he's happy with his relationship.
In early 2020, Carlo declared that he found “the one” in Trina when he said, “Siyempre, nasa tamang edad na rin ako. Titingnan natin sa mga susunod na buwan, taon. Nag-iba 'yung outlook ko sa buhay. Mas magaan, mas happy. Wala naman siguro sa tagal 'yun.”
However, in January 2022, Trina confirmed that she and their one-year-old daughter Enola Mithi have moved to a new house. Trina also wrote a cryptic message on Facebook, adding fuel to the fire that her relationship with Carlo is on the rocks.
