Who knew that basketball star Peter June Simon and 2018 Binibining Pilipinas-Supranational Jehza Huelar were going through difficult times before the birth of their baby boy last March 1, 2021.
The former beauty queen revealed on her Instagram post that in June 2020, she lost their first baby.
According to Jehza, “It was mid-June when I was rushed to the hospital because of heavy bleeding. In my mind, I already knew what was about to transpire. And it happened. We lost our baby.”
This moment really tested the couple, who tied the knot in May 2019.
But to their surprise, a miracle happened and Jehza got pregnant again. She recalled the time when she found out about this unexpected blessing.
"Not counting the days, 6 weeks have turned to 2 months... so I went back to my OB doctor to have myself checked. And the answered prayer was there. GOD HAS HEARD. I am pregnant again -- unexpectedly.
“Hearing the news, PJ and I knew we have to take care of this precious gift so we decided to remove unnecessary stress life is giving us. We had our OB Doctor clearance processed and hurriedly went back to Mindanao for a fresh state of mind.”
Now, they are extremely happy and busy taking care of their “miracle” baby Peter Jeidon Simon.
