When the coronation night of a particular pageant comes, time slows down as we all gather around the television in our homes. We look for our favorites in their evening gowns, marvel at each national costume--and of course, nitpick answers from the Q&A portion.
The love and support Filipinos give to their beauty queens transcends until these ladies form families of their own.
For instance, we were all once again enticed when Miriam Quiambao safely gave birth to her second miracle baby, Ezekial Isaiah, last on July 12, 2021.
Miriam, who was crowned Binibining Pilipinas Universe in 1999 and hailed as Miss Universe 1999 1st Runner-up, is only one of the long list of beauty queens-turned-mothers.
They might have passed the title to another queen, but they still hold within their hands the crown inside their homes--now, as a queen mother.
