Singer-actor and director Raymond Lauchengco has always loved working with his hands during his spare time. During the quarantine period, he finally had the time to explore this special skill of his by repurposing old wood into stunning art pieces.

In an episode of 'Mars Pa More,' the 'So It's You' and 'Farewell' singer showcased some of his exquisite wooden sculptures.

According to Raymond, this simple hobby of his has already turned into something way bigger than he had expected.

Like many, he suddenly found himself having a lot of time in his hands during the quarantine period and decided that it's the perfect time for him to create beautiful art from repurposed wood.

He said that rekindling his love for making wooden art pieces during the lockdown helped keep his mind off some of the heavy stuff that he and his family had to go through.

So far, Raymond has created 30 art pieces and part of the sales are donated to displaced events workers.

Take a look at some of his impressive wooden art creations in this photo gallery.
