On August 10, Ruffa Gutierrez left the Philippines to go to Los Angeles to send her 18-year-old daughter Lorin to college.
Lorin will be attending Pepperdine University, a Christian university in Malibu, California.
Batangas Vice Governor Mark Leviste, whose daughter Arielle is currently studying at the university, helped the Gutierrezes explore the 340-hectare Malibu campus of Pepperdine situated on Santa Monica mountain.
In Los Angeles, Ruffa also met with former actress Donita Rose, and Manny Pacquiao, who is training at Wild Card Boxing Gym for his fight against Yordenis Ugás.
