Filipino-American model Kelsey Merritt sizzles in her second appearance in Sports Illustrated's 2020 Swimsuit Issue.
It really looks like there's no stopping Kelsey's star from shining; not even a pandemic can dull her shine!
Last July 13, her second pictorial for Sports Illustarted's Swimsuit Issue has finally been released, after being postponed for two months due to the ongoing health crisis.
The pictorial for the 2020 Swimsuit Issue of Sports Illustrated (SI) was reportedly shot in the Dominican Republic last February.
Aside from Kelsey, the first-ever transgender model to pose for SI, Valentina Sampaiao, is also featured in the said issue.
Kelsey made her SI debut back in 2019, when she became the first Filipina model to be included in the Rookie List of SI's Swimsuit Issue.
Aside from her SI features, Kelsey is also known for being the first Filipina model to walk the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show in 2018, which also was her first-ever runway show.
The 23-year-old model was born in Pampanga and graduated from the Ateneo de Manila University with a bachelor's degree in Communication in 2017.
After graduating from college in the Philippines, Kelsey moved to New York and pursued a career in modeling.
She first signed with Wilhelmina Models in 2018 and later on moved to a new management, The Society in New York City in 2019.
And ever since her history-making catwalk at the 2018 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, she's kept Filipinos proud all over the world by slaying in all her modeling projects both on and off the runway.
