TC Candler has finally released his much-awaited list of the 100 Most Handsome Faces of 2020.
The 100 Most Handsome Faces list was launched in 2013 as an offshoot of TC Candler's 100 Most Beautiful Faces list which was launched in 1990 and features female celebrities.
The list is determined with the help of the Independent Critics, a group organized by Candler and is composed of around 20 people living in various parts of the world.
These critics do their research based on various suggestions and submissions from the general public to come up with a list that represents worldwide beauty.
Candler also clarifies that the annual list is not a popularity contest. It is also not specific to any country as over 40 countries are represented in the list.
The list also aims to "inform and broaden public opinion," as seen by the entries and winners who hail from different parts of the world.
The list features actors, athletes, singers, models, and other celebrities.
For the first time, the 2020 list included amateur entries or those who are not considered "celebrities" in the traditional sense.
Last year, the list was topped by K-pop superstar Jungkook, a member of sensational idol group BTS.
His fellow BTS member, V or Kim Tae-hyung, topped the list in 2017.
Past winners also include Michael Fassbender who is the first to top the list when it was launched in 2013, followed by Jaime Dornan in 2014.
Mexican actor and singer Diego Boneta took the number one spot in 2015, while Dutch actor and 'Game of Thrones' star Michiel Huisman won in 2016.
Meanwhile, Jason Momoa was hailed the most handsome face in 2018.
