Paolo Contis's ex-wife and former EB Babes member and actress Lian Paz has been away from the limelight for quite some time now to focus on her lovely family.
Lian has two daughters with Paolo named Xonia and Xalene.
After four years of being together, the couple parted ways in 2012 and have since found a new love in their respective new partners.
Paolo Contis is rumored to be in a relationship with actress Yen Santos whom she co-starred in the movie 'A Faraway Land' in 2021.
Lian, on the other hand, has found love in Cebuano businessman and cager, John Cabahug.
The two reportedly first met when they were teens in Cebu when Lian's father who works as a medical representative was assigned to the said province.
After her split with Paolo, Lian and John reconnected for her endorsement of one of John's businesses. And the rest, as they say, was history.
In February of 2021, after eight years of being together, John finally popped the question to Lian.
Lian said yes and posted a photo of herself on IG with the engagement ring on her finger.
She also posted a video of herself crying tears of joy after the proposal, which took place in Crimson Mactan Resort in Cebu.
Part of her IG caption reads, "…ang nag nasa isip ko while I was crying was first, si Daddy. Before he died isa lang yung tumatak sa isip ko na sinabi niya, I wish you find true Purity of Love.”
She also said. “Grabe it hit me so hard, ang sakit and ang saya at the same time to feel this.
Naisip ko, He said that not Just for me kundi para din sa mga apo niya.”
Lian also praised her fiancé, John, She said, “Salamat sobra Mahal @johncabahug87 kung paano mo pinapakita sa mga bata How a woman should be treated.
“Grabe, sometimes I doubt myself kung deserving ba ako But then I realized, God is so Good... it is for my children.
“Hindi lahat ng bagay nakikita for ourselves only. Our Life is not ours anymore once We have kids and John, iba ka when it comes to FAMILY. You gave us the Best. I Love You Leonhardt!”
On January 10, 2016, Lian and John welcomed their first child together named Niña Angela.
John also has a daughter--Maria Alexandra or Lexii for short--with his previous partner.
