Vicki Belo recently revealed in an online show with broadcaster Korina Sanchez that she was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2016 and was told by her doctors that she only had two years to live.
According to the popular cosmetic surgeon, what helped her overcome her battle were prayers, family, love, support, and her number one secret was her daughter, Scarlet Snow Belo.
“Kasi, I look at her and I want to be with her. I don't want to leave her naman so young. So I kept praying, 'Lord, please give me time,” Vicki shared as she also began to cry.
The celebrity doctor also revealed that she has brought her daughter to various international destinations at six months old.
“Six months [old] pa lang, dinala ko na siya sa Maldives, Japan, Paris. Kasi in my mind I want to be with her when she does, she's only six months. So ngayon, super enjoy ako,” she said.
In May 2016, Vicki and her husband, Hayden Kho, introduced their daughter, Scarlet, on Instagram. Scarlet was conceived through in vitro fertilization, or IVF, to an American-Mexican surrogate mother.
