IN PHOTOS: The most notable television roles of Dennis Trillo

Award-winning actor Dennis Trillo is hailed as GMA Network's Drama King because of his undeniable talent not only in drama but in other genres as well.
He started his showbiz career in 2001 as part of the tenth batch of ABS-CBN's Star Circle (now known as Star Magic).
Dennis became a contract star of GMA Network in 2003. He landed his first role in the network in youth-oriented drama 'Kahit Kailan,' where he had a supporting role.
He also became part of drama series 'Twin Hearts' and romance anthology 'Love to Love.'
Dennis got his first main character role in 2004's 'Mulawin' where he played Gabriel, who is half human and half Ravena.
One of his most well-known, beloved and controversial roles is that of Eric in 'My Husband's Lover' (2013). Eric is the ex-flame of Vincent, played by Tom Rodriguez, who rekindles their romance despite being married with kids.
The series earned an nomination for Best Telenovela at the 42nd International Emmy Awards while the role got Dennis the award for Outstanding Performance by an Actor in a Drama Series at the 5th Golden Screen TV Awards and a commendation for Best Actor in a Lead Role at the 19th Asian Television Awards.
Dennis made yet another milestone on Philippine television through GMA Network's series titled 'Legal Wives.'
In this cultural drama, he played Ismael, a wealthy Mranaw man who marries three different women for various reasons.
Fast forward to 2022 to 2023, the Kapuso Drama King showcased his versatility as an actor once again in GMA's historical fantasy series Maria Clara at Ibarra. Through his portrayal of Jose Rizal's iconic character, Crisostomo Ibarra/Simoun, Dennis gained recognition both locally and globally.
In 2024, he received further acclaim for his role as the villain Col. Yuta Saitoh in GMA's family drama series Pulang Araw.
