Newlyweds Glaiza De Castro and David Rainey's love story is unexpected in the most romantic way possible.
In an episode of 'Bright Side,' the Kapuso actress shared how their romance began, saying, “2018, nagpunta ako no'n sa Siargao para sa aking birthday celebration. Tapos one night, may tumutugtog na isang kanta na sobrang favorite ko. Hinanap ko kung sino 'yung nagpapatugtog, apparently siya pala 'yon. Nag-usap na kami.”
When the Irish national had to return to his homeland, he and Glaiza continued their communication. Despite the physical distance, David pursued the Kapuso actress by sending love letters and gift packages.
The two made their relationship official in September 2018 and got engaged in December 2020 when Glaiza took a vacation in David's hometown in Ireland.
“Who would've thought I'd say yes in freezing cold weather…it just felt right,” Glaiza captioned her post, along with a photo of her hand showing her engagement ring.
In an exclusive feature of Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho on February 13, the Sparkle artist revealed that she and her partner have been married since October 2021.
