Son Ye-jin is one of the popular Korean actresses who is admired not only for her amazing talent in acting but also for her beauty.
The former 'Crash Landing on You' actress started her career in the early 2000s and has worked in different drama projects that showcased her versatility in portraying different roles. The award-winning actress took her first lead role in a K-drama titled 'Delicious Proposal.'
Later on, Son Ye-jin solidified her status as a notable K-drama actress when she worked on movie projects like 'Lovers' Concerto' (2002) and 'The Classic' (2003), where she showcased more of her capability in acting.
Her portrayals in different film and television projects also made her one of the sought-after Korean stars. The roles she has previously portrayed included a divorcée, a con artist, a reporter, and an heiress, which probably make her one of the icons in South Korea.
The popular actress's remarkable projects and global fame has also given her different kinds of recognition. In 2020, she was named as Most Popular Actress at the 56th Baeksang Arts Awards.
The worldwide success of 'Crash Landing On You' presented Son Ye-jin's acting prowess to more viewers. Through this Netflix series, where she was paired with Hyun Bin, the K-drama star also strengthened her fanbase not only in South Korea but also abroad.
Since their pairing, Son Ye-jin and Hyun Bin were able to seal more endorsement deals in South Korea and in other countries, these include a contract with a telecommunications company in the Philippines.
In an interview, Son Ye-jin said that she was happy when she worked with a Filipino brand last 2020. She also expressed her interest to visit the Philippines.
With their undeniable chemistry in the series, many wished that Son Ye-Jin would eventually date Hyun Bin. This came true when the on-screen couple announced in January 2021, that they are dating.
A year later in 2022, the couple announced they are engaged. They got married in a beautiful private wedding ceremony in March 2022. In June of the same year, they revealed they're expecting their first child.
