Former actress Juliana Palermo, or Alvi July Juanico in real life, is well-known in showbiz as one of the hottest celebrities of her era.
Juliana grew up in the U.S. with her single mom. She returned to the Philippines in 2002 and initially joined the entertainment industry to help her younger brother who suffered from autism and blindness.
During her stint in local showbiz, she was crowned Miss Kadayawan, recognized by the Golden Screen Awards of the Entertainment Press Society, and awarded with the Breakthrough Performance Award for playing the lead part in the controversial film 'www.xxx.com.'
She also appeared in films such as 'The Call of the River' (2004), 'Xerox' (2006), 'Summer Heat' (2006), 'Faces of Love' (2007), and 'Sakal, Sakali, Saklolo' (2007).
Juliana later on left showbiz and relocated to Davao City to work on her business and as part of the tourism department of the region.
She moved back to America later on. Recently, she got engaged and tied the knot with her non-showbiz partner Joel Crabtree in Cancun, Mexico in 2021.
Juliana already has a son named Ace Christian from a previous relationship. She and Joel, on other hand, have a child named Jack Alexander.
