Isko Moreno expresses gratitude to supporters

Manila Mayor Francisco "Isko Moreno" Domagoso has extended his heartfelt thanks to the voters of Manila after his successful bid to reclaim the city's top post in the Eleksyon 2025.
In a recent Facebook post on the official "Yorme's Choice 2025" page, Moreno expressed deep appreciation for the trust and support bestowed upon him by the Manileños.
The post read, "Maraming-maraming salamat po. I have no words but thanks to the people of Manila. I am grateful to each and every citizen of the City. With this overwhelming type of mandate, I really owe it to you. I will do my best to be a better Mayor of the City of Manila," Isko stated in his message.
In his message, Moreno also called for unity and collective effort to continue the progress in the city. He emphasized the importance of working together to address the challenges facing Manila and to build a better future for all its citizens.
"And lastly, ako naman alam ko sa June 30 pa tayo uupo, eh baka naman kung may bisa na yung salita ko ngayon. Nanawagan ako sa inyo, let's start healing each other. Kung may hurtful words from them to us, and to you, I know, but, 𝐥𝐞𝐭'𝐬 𝐛𝐞 𝐦𝐚𝐠𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐦𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲."
"Kaya ang panawagan ko po sa inyong lahat na pahupain ninyo na ang damdamin ninyo. Huwag tayong mag-away-away. Let's move on with our lives. We must work together, because together, we can make Manila great again."

Isko's victory marks a significant political comeback, as he previously served as Manila's mayor from 2019 to 2022. During his earlier tenure, he was known for various urban renewal projects and social welfare programs aimed at improving the lives of Manila's residents.
As he prepares to assume office, he has pledged to prioritize transparency, efficient governance, and inclusive development. His administration aims to build upon previous accomplishments and introduce new initiatives to further uplift the city's status.
