While enjoying the party at the Manila Marriott Hotel ballroom, the two stars shared a warm bro hug and appeared to be catching up. The casual moment instantly sparked fan curiosity, especially with Jameson now being linked to Jak's former girlfriend, Barbie Forteza.
In an interview with GMA Integrated News, the My Father's Wife actor reacted to the buzz surrounding Barbie and Jameson's rumored romance.
"Bagay, bagay," he said with a nod. "'Tsaka it's about time. Sabi ko kay Jameson, ' Mabait si Barbie. Alagaan mo lang.'"
Jak added that regardless of the nature of their relationship, he respects both artists.
"Kahit anong relasyon meron sila. Si Jameson is a good guy, Barbie is a good girl."
Barbie and Jameson continued to make headlines after being spotted leaving the GMA Gala 2025 hand in hand.
Earlier this year, Barbie clarified in an interview that she and Jameson are “just friends” and enjoy fun runs together. On the other hand, when asked about the real score during his blue carpet interview, Jameson simply laughed and said, “No comment.”
Barbie and Jak confirmed their breakup in January 2025, choosing to part ways after years of being one of the industry's admired couples. Since then, both stars have focused on their respective careers and personal growth.
