Jake Cuenca confirms end of romance with Chie Filomeno

Actor Jake Cuenca broke his silence on the breakup rumor between him and girlfriend Chie Filomeno one week after the actress called for privacy regarding the same issue.
In an ambush interview with entertainment media on October 7, Jake was asked how his heart was doing presently.
“I'm good… ang daming nangyayari, ang daming sinasabi ng mga tao. But siguro, I can officially say that that chapter of my life is over now. To be quite honest with you, I can at least say that I loved that person deeply,” Jake shared about Chie.
Jake admitted that he doesn't have the time yet to process and accept what happened. He noted, however, that if a person loves another, “You want them to have all the happiness in the world, and you want them to be happy.”
The actor also clarified that there was no breakup.
“There wasn't a breakup. There's no breakup. Hindi, wala na lang, e. I love that person deeply. It was incredibly [worth my time], but that chapter is over now,” Jake said.
