Jillian Ward breaks silence: 'Lahat po ng meron ako, I bought it with my own money' 

Kapuso star Jillian Ward has finally addressed persistent rumors circulating on social media about her lifestyle and alleged financial backers.

“It's all fake, lahat po ng meron ako, I bought it with my own money.”

In an interview on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda on Tuesday, October 21, the King of Talk opened the conversation by referencing the various controversies surrounding the Star of the New Gen. Among them was the accusation that Jillian is a “sugar baby” due to her luxurious lifestyle.

After four years of silence, Jillian chose to speak up, saying the rumors have become increasingly absurd and disrespectful, especially toward her family, and most painfully, her mother.

“Actually, nag-start po ito four years ago, I was 16, and at the time, ayoko pong magsalita kasi laging sinasabi sa akin 'If it's not real, hindi mo kailangan magsalita.' Tapos every year, nagre-resurface po siya, then last week, lumabas na naman po siya,” Jillian said.

What hurt the most, she said, were accusations that her mother was “selling” her to fund her luxury cars and investments.

“Siyempre nakakabastos po 'yun sa mother ko ta's iniisip ko din 'yung 15 years of hard work ko, parang tinatapon ang nila lahat ng 'yun dahil sa fake news. Tapos sobra po 'yung disrespect talaga sa comments,” Jillian said.

Jillian clarified that the Porsche Boxster she bought at 16 was a second-hand vehicle priced at ₱1.2 million, far from the ₱2-5 million price tags of brand-new models that netizens claimed she was gifted.

“Binili ko po 'yun with my own money, Tito Boy, lahat ng meron ako, binili ko with my own money, with my own hard work. So parang everytime may na-a-achieve po ako or may binibili po ako na alam n'yo naman, alam ng GMA, alam po ninyo, Tito Boy personally na I can afford it with my own money,” Jillian said.

She also emphasized that all her purchases are documented, and GMA Network has been involved in advising her on how to manage her earnings and investments.

The conversation also touched on Jillian's lavish debut two years ago, which some netizens claimed was sponsored by an unnamed individual. Jillian clarified that GMA Network and her endorsement partners contributed to the event, and she covered the remaining expenses herself.

Jillian revealed that she actually did not spend much on her debut because GMA Network, as well as the brands with which she has an endorsement, gave a share to help her cover the expenses. Everything else not covered with the gifts she received, she paid on her own.

“Hindi po ako sobrang gumastos honestly, and nag-share din po talaga 'yung GMA and may resibo din po ako na lahat po 'yun, lahat po ng costings for my debut, aside po sa binigay ng GMA, I paid for it with my own money,” Jillian said.

Tito Boy also mentioned alleged CCTV footage circulating online, supposedly showing Jillian with older men or sponsors. Jillian challenged those spreading the rumors to release the footage if it exists.

“Sinasabi ko, para matapos na po, if meron kayong footage na ganu'n, ilabas po nila kasi wala po talaga e. Nakaka-frustrate na for four years, I kept silent and I couldn't defend myself,” Jillian said.

She ended with a pointed reminder to netizens: “'Wag lang AI kasi I'm very confident, it never happened.”
