Former Sugarpop member Vanessa Blanca Quillo Rangadhol died at the age of 30 on August 19, 2026.
Viewers of the singing talent competition Pop Star Kids on QTV11 in 2005 were saddened by the news of Vanessa Rangadhol's passing at age 30 on August 19, 2026.
Asia's Limitless Star Julie Anne San Jose shared details of Vanessa's sudden death on her Instagram Story. According to information shared by Vanessa's family, she died in an accident at the condominium unit in Manila where she was staying. As of this writing, details of her wake and funeral arrangements are still being finalized.
Julie Anne, who worked with Vanessa as a member of the singing group Sugarpop, also posted a throwback photo with her. Visibly emotional, The Clash host wrote on her Instagram Story:
“Wani, still can't believe it... Plano pa naman natin mag-reunion. Sugarpop will never be the same without you. Rest in Heaven, Wani.”

Another Sugarpop member, Pocholo Bismonte, also took to Instagram Story to express his sorrow over Vanessa's death.
“Mahal na mahal ka namin wani ang sakit sakit pa rin.”
