Kapuso and Kapamilya stars drum up support for Alden and Julia's first movie team-up

Two of the biggest names in Philippine show business join forces for the most anticipated film directed and written by no less than Irene Emma Villamor.
Asia's Multimedia star and Kapuso leading man Alden Richards and premier Kapamilya actress Julia Montes bring to life the roles of Lance and Justine in the movie Five Breakups and A Romance, which will premiere on the big screen beginning October 18.
This star-studded project is a collaboration of Cornerstone Studios, GMA Pictures, and MYRIAD Corporation, the Sparkle actor's multimedia company.
In her Instagram post promoting their first movie team-up, Julia thanked the Kapuso star for joining her in this incredible journey.
She wrote, “Inaanyayahan ko po kayong panoorin ang aming pelikulang #FiveBreakupsAndARomance showing this Oct 18 in all cinemas nationwide. Ito ang pelikulang bumago sa akin, nagturo sa akin na mas lalong maging matapang at nagpa-realize sa akin importansya ng pagmamahal, pagpapatawad at pagmamahal ng paulit ulit. @aldenrichards02 salamat sa pagsama sa akin sa journey na ito. Salamat sa pagkakaibigan, salamat at napakadali ng lahat dahil magkasama tayo sa proyektong ito. Direk @ayrin you are a genius.”
“Maraming salamat sa napakagandang istorya na ibinigay mo sa amin ni Alden. Mahal na mahal kita. Suportahan po natin ang pelikulang pilipino!”
Meanwhile, Alden told in an exclusive chat with Papa Obet last September 15 during their guesting on Barangay LS Forever what was it like shooting Five Breakups and a Romance with the versatile actress Julia.
He said, “Isa sa mga bagay na nagustuhan ko talaga while working with Jules is 'yung parang we respect each other's privacy. May time kami na gusto lang namin by ourselves, pero most of the time, gusto namin nagkukulitan.”
The Asia's Multimedia Star added, “I think what this team-up has is respect talaga sa isa't isa. 'Yung mga tao sa set magaan, [si] Direk Irene [Villamor], she made sure everything was parang organic. Walang put on, walang fake and 'yun 'yung parang nadala namin even after filming.”
