Kapuso and Kapamilya stars send heartfelt condolences to Erik Santos after the death of his father

OPM idol Erik Santos confirmed last Friday (August 11) that his father, Renato Aquino Santos, has passed away at the age of 70.
This heartbreaking news came seven months after the Kapamilya singer mourned the death of his mother, Angelita, who was battling cancer.
On his Instagram post, the award-winning performer said, “Our beloved Tatay has now joined our Creator. Mahal na mahal kita, Tay.”
He also quoted a Bible verse, “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day--and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing. 2 Timothy 4:7-8.”
Several celebrities and colleagues in GMA-7 commented on Erik's Instagram post and sent their heartfelt condolences to his family during these trying times.
