Kean Cipriano and Chynna Ortaleza have been happily married since 2015. Since then, they've been blessed with two beautiful children, Stellar, born in 2016, and Salem, born in 2019.
Unknown to the public, Kean and Chynna's relationship could have started way earlier, when they were still studying.
Chynna has been active in show business since she was a kid. She was part of the youth-oriented program '5 and Up' alongside Atom Araullo.
Back then, one of Chynna's stylists happened to be Kean's cousin. This relative asked Kean if he would like Chynna to be his date at his prom.
"'Yung pinsan ko, may prom kami sa school, 'tas sabi niya, 'Insan, gusto mo ba ng artista na ka-date?' So ako, siyempre naman, bidang-bida ako sa mga ka-batch ko noon, 'di ba?" he revealed during their guesting on 'Fast Talk with Boy Abunda.'
Unfortunately, Chynna was not available. Instead, she gave Kean a wallet-sized photo of her with a short dedication on the back.
Forward to 2008, Kean met Chynna for the first time during a celebrity event in Boracay, a photo of which he proudly uploaded on Instagram.
"Minsan 'di mo masasabi, yung taong mamahalin mo maaring nand'yan lang pala talaga," he wrote in the caption.
But their relationship did not start until a few years later since their chemistry was too strong back then that they both got scared.
In 'Fast Talk with Boy Abunda,' Chynna admitted that they needed to "kill the spark" since back then, Kean was still in a relationship while she was a "wreck."
Many years after, Kean and Chynna have still managed to end up in each other's arms.
In fact, the celebrity couple marked their 10th anniversary with heartfelt messages for each other.
