Sa gitna ng mga hiwalayan sa showbiz, nananatiling matatag ang Kapuso couple na sina Gabbi Garcia at Khalil Ramos, na nagdiwang ng kanilang seventh anniversary kamakailan.
Sa panayam ni Boy Abunda sa kanila sa 'Fast Talk with Boy Abunda' noong Miyerkules, March 13, tinanong sila ng King of Talk kung nakaramdam ba sila ng "seven year-itch" o panlalamig ng relasyon sa pagtungtong ng ikapitong taon.
Sagot ni Gabbi, "No'ng nag-third year kami, we were waiting for the itch. Asan yung itch? Wala naman.
"We were happy and ngayong seven years, we're not afraid nor anticipating it to happen. We just live our lives normally. Ang laki kasi ng tiwala namin sa isa't isa, and whenever people would tell us na, 'Huwag kayong magbe-break, ha.' Kami parang, 'We're fine, we're okay.'"
Sa katunayan, napag-uusapan na raw nila ang kasal.
Ani Gabbi, "Same naman din kami ng end goal. Even at the start of this relationship, why waste time on someone you don't wanna end up with, right? So from the get-go, I think we are aligned that we wanted to keep this relationship special for the future."
Sundot pa ng Kapuso It Girl, "Yeah, we talk about it, alam ko na yung susuotin ko e."
Gusto raw niya na maging intimate at quiet ang kanilang magiging kasal ni Khalil.
Dugtong pa niya, "So I'm not afraid to talk about it kasi that's part of life and it's such a beautiful thing. Feeling ko lang kasi magiging problem s'ya if magiging pressured na kami. If ma-pressure kami by the people around us or whatever social media tells us what to do, I think that is when it becomes a problem. If it's something you discuss for the future and it strengthens your relationship, it makes it healthier, why not?"
Sa palagay naman ni Khalil, normal na makaramdam ng pressure bilang lalaki. "Ako, I'm 28, I'm approaching my 30s na and we both see ourselves starting a family eventually, so syempre meron kang pressure na mararamdaman and, of course, we're both public figures as well. It's about being aware that there is a pressure and how you manage it."
