Actress and comedienne Kiray Celis has announced on Instagram that she's now engaged to her longtime boyfriend Stephan Estopia.
On April 21, Kiray Celis posted on her Instagram: "Ang CEO ng Hot Babe, Hello Bloom at Day-Li ay ENGAGED na!!! 🥲🥰," referring to herself and the brands of health supplements that she owns and manages.
A quick browse on the carousel of photos would show Kiray Celis turning emotional as her boyfriend Stephan Estopia asking for her hand in marriage on bended knee. Both of their families were there to witness the beautiful moment that happened by the beach.
This engagement news comes as a surprise since it was not too long ago Kiray openly admitted in a TV interview that she was not yet ready for marriage.
Kiray said in her Fast Talk with Boy Abunda interview, "Nung una, inisip ko 'yung mama ko, pero ngayon, ako pala talaga 'yung hindi ready. Parang late bloomer ako, Tito Boy. Ngayon ko pa lang na-fi-feel na parang--feeling ko, ngayon pa lang ako nagdadalaga."
In the same interview, Kiray also revealed that she had told Stephan about the ring that she wanted. "Sobra ko siyang pine-pressure. Sabi ko gusto ko ganitong singsing ah, dapat ganito kamahal. Pero kasi, feeling ko, reasons ko lang 'yon," she said.
Back in December 2024, Kiray Celis and Stephan Estopia marked the fifth anniversary of their relationship.
