Korean actress Lee Seo-yi, has died at the age of 43.
On July 1, her manager announced the news of her passing through Lee Seo-yi's official social media account. According to the post, she died on June 20. The exact cause of death has not been publicly revealed.
The post was translated by Koreaboo in English as follows
"Hello. This is Song Seo-bin, the manager of actress Lee Seo-yi.
"I'm writing this to let you know that my brilliant, beautiful, pretty, and kind unnie became a star in the sky on June 20.
"I know you all must be shocked and heartbroken by the news of her passing, but please pray that unnie goes to a beautiful place.

Lee Seo-yi began her acting career in 2013 with the MBC historical drama Hur Jun, The Original Story.
She went on to appear in several notable projects, including the films The King (2017) and Killing Romance (2023), as well as the SBS drama Cheongdam-dong Scandal (2015).
Beyond her work in entertainment, Lee was also recognized for her academic achievements. She graduated from Hankuk University of Foreign Studies with a major in Czech and Slovak studies and later pursued further education at Pusan National University.
Her untimely passing has left fans heartbroken, mourning the loss of both her talent and her bright spirit.
