A timeline of Kris Aquino health scares

Family, friends, and fans continue to send prayers for the Queen of All Media, Kris Aquino, after she revealed a concerning update on her delicate medical condition.

On Instagram, the TV host-actress surprised netizens by announcing that she has been diagnosed with nine autoimmune diseases.

Kris listed the illnesses she is currently receiving treatment for, which include: Autoimmune Thyroiditis, Chronic Spontaneous Urticaria, EGPA (a life threatening form of vasculitis), Systemic Sclerosis/ Scleroderma, Lupus, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Fibromyalgia, Polymyositis, and Mixed Connective Tissue disease (MCTD).

Due to her fragile health, Kris remains mostly confined in her room in Bonifacio Global City. She shared that she has severe food allergies and strictly prohibited from sunlight exposure.

"Before and while writing this, I still have fever, it's expected to happen often since I've been diagnosed with Progressive Systemic Sclerosis a.k.a Scleroderma, LUPUS, Polymyositis, and Mixed Connective Tissue disease... my on and off low grade (37.8 to 38.6) fever refuses to leave. It's been overstaying for more than two weeks now," she revealed.

Despite her struggles, Kris expressed gratitude for her son Bimby, who has been her greatest source of strength. However, as a mother, she also hopes for his happiness beyond just caring for her.

"Bimby's got me, but it's not fair to expect him to always be by my side. I'm excited to meet whoever his first girlfriend will be, there's someone I really like for him--but when you push too much it's already meddling," she shared.

Kris remains hopeful for healing despite the odds. She asked for continued prayers, believing in the power of faith and medical guidance.

"Please don't give up? The odds are against my survival, but I have faith in the power of prayer. Jesus healed so many. Autoimmune has no cure. But I still believe the Holy Spirit will guide my doctors. And I don't break my promises, I said I'd return for you to watch me--I am hoping to be strong enough before Mother's Day," she wrote.

In the same post, Kris addressed the public's reaction to her recent breakup announcement with Dr. Mike Padlan. She admitted her illness played a role in their separation and made her lose confidence as well.

The actress apologized to Dr. Mike and his family, along with a reply to a post of her ex-boyfriend's son, Miguel Lorenzo Padlan.

Meanwhile, Kris Aquino also previously shared that she was facing Lupus Flare fever, another challenge in her ongoing health battle.
