Kris Aquino delays medical procedure due to high blood pressure

Kris Aquino shared a health update after her scheduled procedure this week was postponed due to elevated blood pressure. In an Instagram Story, the Queen of All Media opened up about her anxiety ahead of the procedure, admitting that nerves kept her from getting proper rest.
"Nervous, having trouble sleeping. My procedure was re-sked because my BP last night was too high. My heart is overwhelmed. Praying for peace," she wrote.
While Kris did not go into detail about the procedure, messages of concern and support quickly poured in from fans online. A Facebook fan account earlier mentioned that the actress and TV host was set to undergo a minor operation and asked supporters to continue praying for her.
"Hello everyone! Our Queen of All Media, Kris Aquino, will be undergoing a minor operation this Monday. We will post updates regarding the procedure. Maraming salamat sa patuloy na pagdarasal, pagmamahal, at hindi pag-iwan sa ating KCA. We kindly ask for your prayers. Lord, we entrust Kris to You. Please guide the hands of the doctors, grant her a safe procedure, and bless her with a smooth and speedy recovery. Amen. "
Kris has been open about her ongoing battle with multiple autoimmune conditions and continues to receive treatment. She previously stayed in the United States starting in 2022 for medical care before returning to the Philippines in 2024.
