Kris Aquino stepped out once again to celebrate her close friend, Filipino fashion designer Michael Leyva.
In an Instagram post, makeup artist Patrick Rosas shared a photo from Michael's birthday, which was also attended by First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos and Kathryna Yu-Pimentel, along with the Queen of All Media.
“Celebrate today, it's a special day. Cheers to life, @michaelleyva_,” he wrote.
In the comments section, the designer replied, “Thank you, mother, for celebrating with me.”
Earlier this year, in February, Kris made her first public appearance since facing health struggles by attending PeopleAsia's People of the Year 2025 awards to support Michael.
Reflecting on their friendship, she said, “There are people who say, 'I'll be there for you' or 'maaasahan mo ako,' but Michael has proven that so many times and in so many ways.”
In August, Kris shared that her autoimmune and other serious health conditions had worsened, prompting her to undergo several surgeries to support her ongoing recovery.
