Piniling magpatawad ni Bea Alonzo sa magdadalawang taong cyber libel case na isinampa niya laban kay Cristy Fermin at sa co-hosts na sina Wendell Alvarez at Romel Villamor.
Kinumpirma ito sa inilabas na official statement ng legal counsel ng aktres na si Atty. Jose Manolo Garcia ng GERA LAW, kasunod ng public apology statement ng kampo ni Cristy Fermin.
“After two years of legal proceedings & with the case pending before the Regional Trial Court, this matter has run its course under the law. The process has not been easy for any party involved. It has required accountability, reflection & fortitude.
"It is within this context that I share the perspective that led our client, Ms. Bea Alonzo, to consider resolving this matter through mediation.
"This decision is neither an act of retreat nor concession. Rather, it is an act of resolve, anchored in forgiveness.
"Upon deep reflection, Ms. Alonzo has chosen to forgive. Not out of weakness but out of strength. Not to erase what was done, but to free herself from a cycle of harm & hostility that no longer serves her life or her purpose.
"She views this chapter not as something to carry forward but as something to close, with grace, dignity & peace.
"Moving forward, Ms. Alonzo wishes to focus on what truly matters, her work, her advocacies & her role as a woman who uplifts others, particularly those navigating their own silent battles.

Ibinahagi ni Cristy Fermin sa kanilang YouTube channel na "Showbiz Now Na!" na inilabas noong February 11, na tinanggap na ni Bea ang kanilang paliwanag at pagpapakumbaba.
May 2024 nang maghain si Bea ng reklamong cyber libel kina Cristy Fermin, Ogie Diaz, at sa kanilang co-hosts dahil sa umano'y malisyosong komento laban sa aktres sa kanilang online show.
