This 2021, GMA Public Affairs brings you 'My Fantastic Pag-ibig,' a new fantasy-romcom series that stars GMA Network's up-and-coming artists.
The new series, which consists of six unique lighthearted tales, aims to touch the viewers' imagination with love stories set in present times infused with exciting and dynamic plots.
The first installment titled “Love Wars” is headlined by 'StarStruck' alums Lexi Gonzales and Kim De Leon. It follows the story of star-crossed lovers - a modern-day cupid and a dating app developer.
The sacred town of cupids is on the brink of collapse because the rate of real love between people is declining. The cupids blame this on the dating app called “MatchMaker.”
They believe that using the app only results in broken hearts, diminishing people's belief in finding true love. The cupids will then try to infiltrate the company and sabotage its system.
In an attempt to save their home, one of the cupids, named Milos/Pido (Kim), pretends to be a mortal and applies as an intern in the company. During his secret mission, he will meet the charming and lovable app developer named Lovelyn (Lexi), who continuously strives for the success of “MatchMaker.”
Will Pido break the cycle of finding love in the digital age?
Directed by Michael Christian Cardoz, the fantasy-romcom series is set to bring magic, laughter, and “kilig” on January 30 on GMA News TV.
