Liza Diño-Seguerra pens emotional message for Ice's late mom Caring

Liza Diño-Seguerra mourns the passing of her mother-in-law, Mommy Caring, the mother of Ice Seguerra.
The sad news was announced by the OPM singer-songwriter via social media.
In a Facebook post, Liza penned an emotional and touching message for Mommy Caring. In her post, Liza is still in disbelief that her mother-in-law has passed.
“Hindi pa rin totoo sa isip at puso ko na wala ka na. Parang nung isang araw lang, nandun ka pa sa Rampa, nakangiti, nagce-celebrate, nakiki-party sa birthday ko, kumpleto sa energy, ready pa ring sumayaw. Napakasigla mo pa nun. Kaya ang bigla-bigla po nito. Ang hirap tanggapin,” she wrote.
Liza then thanked Mommy Caring for loving her like her own child, for supporting her dreams, and for always being present. She also commended her mother-in-law for her unconditional love for Ice.
She went on, “You are a constant presence in his life--You were always there for every show, every gig at tugtog niya kahit saan man yan. His one-woman cheer squad na nagiging iyakin lately lalo pag kinakantahan ka ni Ice.
“Pero hindi ka lang pangcheer, the best critic ka rin. Kung kulang ang birit, sasabihin mo. Kung maganda ang pagkanta pero pwede pang may feelings, maririnig namin 'yon. Never mo kaming binola and we're all better because of it.”
Liza then said that Mommy Caring was one of the strongest women she knew, but at the same time was “full of warmth and generosity.”
Liza also promised Mommy Caring that she will take care of Ice and love him the way she loved him.
“Thank you for embracing me, for loving Amara, and for always making your presence felt sa lahat ng paraan. Wala kang katulad. Mahal na mahal ka namin, Mommy Caring. We miss you already pero at least magkasama na kayo ni Daddy Dick ngayon--nag-baballroom at bidyoke together. Salamat sa lahat. Mahal na mahal kita,” she added.
In a separate post, Liza also shared details of Mommy Caring's wake.
"Ang pambansang mommy na super groovy. Let's send her off with love, good vibes, and lots of memories," she wrote.
Viewing starts today, June 28, until Tuesday, July 1, at the Aeternitas Chapel and Columbarium Commonwealth Ave., Quezon City.
Mommy Caring's remains will be cremated on July 1.
