Veteran showbiz columnist and talent manager Lolit Solis passed away at the age of 78, as confirmed by her daughter in a statement to GMA News Online.
Since the 1980s, Lolit has been active in the entertainment indutsry. However, many people don't know that she actually begane her journalism career as a police beat reporter, until Douglas Nieras took her under his wing and brought her to the entertainment section of a national broadhseet.
