Most artists and celebrities are happy that they are able to do their craft. To be able to share their talent and skills are already a reward on their own. However, to be recognized and for their hard work to be acknowledged and rewarded, would be the icing on their cake.
While artists and celebrities have been given awards by award-giving bodies locally, to be recognized by international ones has its own prestige which artists can be proud of. Receiving an award from an international festival only means that the world or at least part of the world has seen their talents and wanted to reward them.
