At a time of grunge music, boy bands, family computers, baggy pants, and party lines rose unforgettable dance groups that dominated Philippine showbiz.

They made such an impact in the '90s that the hits they popularized are still being played and danced until today. Because of their success, various members of these groups were able to transition from being iconic dancers to full-pledged actors.

Taking a little throwback, kids of their generation surely still remember the good old days of the Manoeuvres, Universal Motion Dancers (UMD), Streetboys, and Abztract Dancers to name a few. Back then, they dominated not only television but as well as afternoon discos, fiestas, schools. Name it, they literally had screaming girls lose their sanity watching them perform.

As some of them made significant successes in showbiz, they did not forget to take their respective groups along with them. This further solidified not only their personal relationships with one another but more so, their mark in the entertainment industry.

Let's look back at the actors who started out as members of '90s dance groups in this gallery.
