Ashley is the daughter of former celebrity Hans Montenegro with former wife, Binibining Pilipinas World 1994 Caroline “Cara” Subijano.
Following her mother's footsteps, Ashley in 2019 won as Miss Charm Philippines, but unfortunately due to the pandemic, she wasn't able to compete in Miss Charm International after it was repeatedly postponed.
She also worked as a runway model.
