One thing that loosening travel rules and restrictions all over the world have brought back is the possibility of holding large gatherings -- including concerts.
Over the past year, multiple K-Pop acts like Tomorrow x Together , Seventeen , and Kang Daniel visited the country to stage concerts and fan meetings, delighting Filipino fans who have been looking forward to these performances for more than two years now.

It wasn't just one, not two, but three K-pop acts that came to Manila in July for “K-Pop Masterz in Manila.” Treasure and GOT7 members Bambam and Jackson Wang delighted Teumes and Ahgases alike at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.
This benefit concert held at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in support of people with special needs was headlined by Red Velvet and also featured P-pop groups like BGYO and BINI as supporting acts.
What should have been a triumphant return for Super Junior back in August at the SM Mall of Asia Arena became a bittersweet moment for the ELFs instead as the guys had to cancel their performance because of the passing of member Eunhyuk's father. While the guys did not perform, they went out for a short meet and greet with the fans and promised to return. Seventeen made their triumphant return to the Philippines with “Be The Sun,” three years after they last performed here during their “Ode To You” tour. “Be The Sun” was held on October 8 and 9 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena. That's not all, as Seventeen is set to return here on December 17 to perform at the Philippine Arena in Bulacan.
The fifth member of GOT7 to visit the country, Jay B performed at the Araneta Coliseum at the start of October, with local star James Reid even making a special appearance.
Tomorrow x Together made their first visit to the Philippines during the Manila leg of their “ACT: LOVE SICK” tour at the SM Mall of Asia arena. The group delighted MOAs with their two-day concert held on October 27 and 28, even singing “Akin Ka Na Lang” by The Itchyworms and performing “Our Summer” just for the Filipino MOAs in attendance.
This time around, it isn't just one K-pop act headlining the BE YOU benefit concert but four -- BoA, TVXQ, and EXO's Chen and Xiumin. The concert has two stops -- today at the Mactan New Town Open Grounds and tomorrow at the Araneta Coliseum.
Korean rapper Jessi staged her first concert in Manila in September at the SM Mall of Asia Arena and her loyal Jebbies were there to sing along with her. Jessi described the Manila concert as an experience she would never forget.
Multiple K-pop artists descended on the city on October 29 to take part in “Hallyuween,” a K-pop Halloween party that featured Epik High, CL, Pentagon, KARD, Gaho x Kave, and DJ Soda.
“I-POP U 2022” was another concert that featured multiple K-pop groups, namely Xdinary Heroes, Golden Child, WayV, and NCT Dream.
Kang Daniel returned to the Philippines for the “First Parade” held at the New Frontier Theater. Aside from performing his singles, the singer also played games and interacted with his fans.
"Neo City: Manila The Link" was NCT 127's first solo concert in the country held at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.
The second staging of K-Pop Masterz featured artists like iKON, Ateez, and GOT7's Youngjae.
