Meet BabyMonster, YG's new girl group

YG Entertainment has just introduced the seven members of their new girl group, Baby Monster.
On May 12, YG's head producer Yang Hyun-suk officially announced the initial members--Ahyeon, Ruka, Chiquita, Haram, and Pharita.
The debut member announcement video drew much attention online, and after much clamor from fans, trainees Rora and Asa have also been added to the lineup.
Yang Hyun-suk explained that he wanted Rora to debut with YG's next girl group, and that he planned for Asa to partake in a girl group project he was planning in Japan.
The seven girls were among the final trainees for BabyMonster, and their journey to their final evaluation has been documented through BabyMonster's official YouTube channel.
YG Entertainment has produced a few of the biggest K-pop acts, including BigBang, 2ne1, WINNER, iKON, and BLACKPINK.
