Park Jiyeon of K-pop girl group T-ARA has just tied the knot and shared her lovely wedding pictures.
Jiyeon tied the knot with baseball player Hwang Jae-hyun on December 10 in a private wedding ceremony in the Shilla Hotel, Seoul. The bride's longtime friend, singer IU performed at the wedding along with fellow singer Lee Hong-ki.
Born on June 7, 1993, Jiyeon made a name for herself in the Korean entertainment industry at a young age as a child model. She has been in the music scene since her debut with T-ARA in 2009. Apart from her group's activities, she has also starred in various television dramas such as 'Soul' (2009), 'Master of Study' (2010), 'Dream High 2' (2012), and 'Triangle' (2014), also starred in various films such as 'Death Bell 2: Bloody Camp' (2012) and 'Encounter' (2015). She debuted as a solo artist with her first EP, "Never Ever," on May 20, 2014, making her the first T-ara member to debut as a solo artist. On December 26, 2019, Jiyeon released her second EP "Senpass," a portmanteau of "Sense" and "Compass."
In February 2022, Jiyeon shared a handwritten note on social media announcing her marriage to longtime boyfriend Hwang Jae-gyun.
